Sail Loft, Old Portsmouth
Our client purchased a modern built apartment with commanding views over the marina in Old Portsmouth.
The spacious apartment needed an update and had a large roof void which offered an opportunity to extend into the loft space and create a dramatic mezzanine level master bedroom suite and sitting room.
The alterations required lots of structural steel which the client wanted to be exposed where suitable. A bespoke steel frame stair was designed to further the celebration of the structural materials.
The result is a dramatic light filled space with rich materials and craftsmanship. The space is an ideal social space with vaulted open plan living.
