This Southsea Townhouse is a modern built townhouse just steps away from the seafront. The property is spacious but as its set over several storey the clients wanted a family sized kitchen with an area for eating that opened onto the garden. The brief was for a very small extension to suit the requirement for extra space and to suit the project budget. The result is an open plan kitchen and sitting area that is full of light and crisp design. The steels have been exposed to show off the structure a large roof window an Crittall style doors allow the space to fill with natural light. A generous utility room was designed to be tucked behind a pocket door to hide the chores from sight. A new ground floor shower room has replaced a small loo. This project shows how even very small changes can have a big impact of family living.
