Staying Inn Southsea
When a lovely young family decided to make a home of this large Southsea property, they knew they would need to make some changes. The ground floor was host to a full width conservatory that wasn’t fit for purpose. There was restricted aspect into the garden and the rooms were segregated and lacked interaction. The plan was simple but effective. A replacement extension across the back with a big structural glazed lantern, exposed structural steels and massive sliding doors to connect the indoors to the garden. The rooms on the ground floor were shuffled about and opened up to make a big family kitchen with dining and sitting space. The clients got stuck in with lots of contributions to the effort and an impeccable eye for finish and fixtures that produced an exception result. They are very pleased and proud of the results – as they should be!
It’s clear to see that they now have plenty of reason to stay in(n).
